Who Are We?

Chemususu Water Company (CHEWASCO) is a wholly owned Company of the County Government The Company of Baringo. CHEWASCO was incorporated under the Company's Act Cap 486 in August 2015. We are responsible for the provision of water services within Eldama-Ravine and Mogotio Sub-Counties. We are governed by a Board of Directors comprising of five (5) members representing various key stakeholders, including the County Government of Baringo. The daily management of the company is undertaken by the Corporate Management Team (CMT) headed by the Managing Director.

Water Quality control

Chewasco ensures that its water quality meets national standards through internal and external tests in compliance to KEBS and WHO standards. In addition to its in-house laboratory tests, samples will be sent on a regular basis to the Kenya Bureau of Standards.

What We Offer ?

CRVWWDA is licensed by the WASREB to be responsible for the efficient and economical provision of water Services within its jurisdiction. CRVWWDA in turn engaged Chewasco to be a Water ServiceProvider in Eldama Ravine town and its environs through a Service Provision Agreement (SPA) as required by the water Act 2002, sections 53 and 55,and water act 2016. Chewasco pursuant to section 154 of the water Act2016 operates as a county water service provider mandated to serve Eldama Ravine Town and its environs including parts of Emining, Mogotio, Muserech and sales bulk water to parts of Rongai in Nakuru County.
